A few months ago, I planted my first ever bulb - a Dahlia. I had absolutely no idea if it would even grow, but my efforts were rewarded with the most amazing flower, that is still looking beautiful a week after the first petals were showing.
For my latest Take Ten challenge, I photographed this flower over several days and at different stages of opening.
My images were taken from a variety of angles with both my dSLR and my iPhone and processed in different ways using Lightroom and Mextures.
